Dr. Moah Xiong

Dr. Moah

Dr. Moah Xiong’s path to dentistry is shaped by family, hard work, and a deep belief that great care begins with understanding people. Originally from Wausau, Wisconsin, he grew up in a farming household where he saw how healthcare decisions affect everyday families. He learned early that many people delay dental care not because they don’t value their health, but because life, finances, or fear get in the way – an insight that continues to guide his approach as a dentist.

Dr. Moah’s journey to dentistry was unconventional. After earning his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he worked as a lab researcher, gift shop manager, and an outreach specialist, helping students apply to college all while continuing to support his family on the farm. His work always centered around people – supporting them, guiding them, and helping them make informed decisions. Within a couple of years, he began dental school at the University of Minnesota.

During dental school, Dr. Moah sought opportunities to serve communities with limited access to dental care. He participated in outreach at a nonprofit dental clinic and mobile dental clinic, experiences that reinforced his belief that quality dental care should be accessible to everyone.

After graduating from dental school, he began serving the Madison/Sun Prairie community while expanding his clinical knowledge through continuing education, with an emphasis in oral surgery and implant dentistry. At last, he decided it was time to pursue the long‑term vision he had carried since dental school.

That vision became Grand Line Dentistry.

The name “Grand Line” is inspired by One Piece, a childhood favorite anime Dr. Moah grew up watching. Set in a world filled with pirates, giants, and mythical creatures, the Grand Line is a vast body of ocean water that every adventurer must sail through in order to reach their goals and dreams. To Dr. Moah, it reflects his belief that every patient has their own “Grand Line” that they must sail through on their journey towards oral health.

Wherever a patient is starting, Dr. Moah’s philosophy is simple:

Our job isn’t to judge where someone has been. Our job is to understand where they are, listen to where they want to go, and help guide them along the way.

At Grand Line Dentistry, Dr. Moah is committed to providing comprehensive, high‑quality care that is personal. He diagnoses honestly, explains clearly, and presents treatment options that reflect each patient’s needs, priorities, and goals. His focus is on helping patients feel cared for, supported, and be confident in their own smile.

Being mindful of cost never means compromising on quality. Dr. Moah integrates modern technology, continually improves his clinical skills, and works to make high‑quality care accessible. His goal is to provide the right treatment for each patient, at the right time, in a way that fits their life.

Outside the office, Dr. Moah enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Jade, and their dogs—Flounder the corgi and Sebastian the golden retriever. He enjoys traveling, sports, gardening, and catching up on his anime and dramas.
