FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions? We’ve got answers. Here are some of the most common things patients ask:
How often should I visit the dentist?
The American Dental Association and the knowledgeable team at Grand Line Dentistry recommend patients visit our office at least every six months. During these regular checkups and cleanings, we’re able to diagnose oral health concerns in the earliest stages, and offer most treatments that are tailored to our patients.
Do you accept children as patients?
We do welcome children, and one parent can be in the room during treatment. If your child needs specialized care or additional support in the dental setting, we may suggest a pediatric clinic that has the tools and training to best meet those needs.
When should I arrive?
If you’re a new patient, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early. For regular patient, please arrive 5 minutes early.
What if I have dental anxiety?
We offer gentle, compassionate care and sedation options to keep you comfortable.
How long does a typical appointment take?
What insurance or financial payment do you accept?
- Delta Premier
- Delta Medicare
- United Healthcare Medicare
What if I don’t have dental insurance?
We offer our SMART Smile Plan for those who do not have dental insurance, which has many benefits. This allows patients can take control of their health instead of their insurance. We also work with a third party financing called Cherry to make quality care affordable for everyone.
What if I have a dental emergency?
For dental emergencies, reach out to our team right away during office hours. We’ll make every effort to accommodate you as quickly as possible and ensure you get the care you need.
Can you help me improve my at-home care? What if I lose my after-care instructions
We are happy to offer oral hygiene instructions and demonstrations for patients of all ages during professional teeth cleanings. Additionally, we make product recommendations to help patients maintain their healthiest smiles. If you loose your after-care instructions, please give us a call.
